EVENTS OF THE PAST
As I Sang On And Just When I Was About Taking
My First Dancing Step, It Was
About The Time The Rhythmic Sound
Of The Beat Stopped!
The Fire Of Sadness Aglow In My Veins
As The Shoes I Wore Hindered My Dancing Steps
The Tap drums Still On Now Crying In Vain
My Dancing Shoes Refuse To Hold On Tight To My Feet
The Snail Refuses To Stay In The Shell
As The Shell Is Echoeing In The Agony Of Emptiness
Tomorrow To Come Is Shaking
As The Conscience Seems Uncased
‘cause Of The Past Seed That I Sowed
That Has Almost Ripe For Me To Reap Its Harvest!
Oh The Remains Of The Ray Of The Sunlight Slows Down
Yet Drying And Enriching The Harvest
Still On The same Spot Holding Tight To The Bony Meat
Eat It I Hear, It’s Too Bony I Reply, Then Throw It Away They Say
But There’s Still Some Meat Buried In It I Say!
I’m Breathless
My Sweet Voice Is Gone, My Trumpet Is On Fire
Lost My Value 'cause Of The Events Of The Past That Haunt On
Refusing To Back Off Me
Would I Be Able To Mend My Past?
The Past Has No Other Name Than The Past
Concentrate On The Future To Avoid Re-occurrence.
